Greenville, SC – Allora, LLC, specialists in architectural design, construction, planning and development, announces their membership with the United States Green Building Council (USGBC).
The USGBC is a non-profit organization committed to sustainable building practices. Their most popular program, Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) Green Building Rating System is a rating system for high performance, sustainable buildings including residential homes.
“Although high gas prices seem to be the catalysis that are making people more aware of energy cost and the environment, the truth is that the automobile actually has less impact than the built environment. It is residential, commercial, and industrial buildings that account for more than two thirds of our energy use. These buildings are where Allora, LLC can make a positive impact through quality design. Our commitment to creating a better built environment naturally led us to strive towards Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design and join the USGBC,” remarked Allora, LLC Project Manager, Jonathan Hyman, Associate AIA, LEED AP.
With offices in South Carolina, North Carolina and Florida, Allora offers design and construction of single and multi-family residences, amenity facilities, light commercial projects, and resort/community planning and development.
